Undergraduate Freshers' Hub!

Welcome to Trinity College's

Undergraduate Freshers' Hub!

This page contains everything you need to know about starting at Trinity.

It is also home to the various forms that you need to complete and return as part of your enrolment process.

Each of the bullet point headings below links to a form. Please follow the links to complete the forms and return them as instructed.

You may find this checklist helpful to keep track of the deadlines for returning these forms.  It is essential that you return each form on time to ensure an efficient enrolment process.

  University Card Form

This form requires a handwritten signature. Please print, sign and scan this form before returning it to us.

Please make sure that you insert a photograph on this form in the specified place, either digitally (before printing), or manually (after printing but before scanning and returning the form).

Return it by email to Isabel Lough (isabel.lough@trinity.ox.ac.uk) by Friday 21st August.

Important steps: We request you return this form as soon as possible, and no later than the 21st August, as this information is required to create your university card, activate your IT account and start the application for accommodation process. The University Card Form is a requirement of the university and will be processed centrally by the university's card office.

Once a University Card is created, an automatic email is generated by the University's IT Services which will create an Oxford Username for you (also called the Single Sign-On). You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate this direct to the home email you have provided. The card office will be dealing with a large volume of forms, so you may find that there is a short wait between returning your card form and receiving your automated email from IT Services. If you have any problems with your Single Sign-On (receipt, activation, passwords etc) you should contact IT Services for assistance.

Our Accommodation Office will be notified when your Single Sign-On has been activated. They will email you details about our online accommodation portal, so that you can make an application for your accommodation. All requests for accommodation are processed through this portal, which requires your Single Sign-On username and password.

Additional information on accommodation can be found in the pre-arrival section below.

  Photography Consent Form

As part of Freshers’ Week activities in college, we have booked a photographer for several of the events to capture what a student fresher event in college is like. This is mainly for use on the college website and occasional social media posts, and the photographer will try not to be intrusive. If you are attending an event where the photographer will be present and do not wish to be in any of the pictures, please let them know and they will be sure to respect your request. We don’t want anyone’s introduction to Freshers Week in college to be an uncomfortable one!

If you are happy to appear in college photos online, please could you return the attached consent form to Michael directly at michael.belcher@trinity.ox.ac.uk, by Friday 4th September. When completing the form, please put ‘freshers activities’ in the ‘Event’ box at the top of the form.

  Trinity College Admissions Register

This is an historic record and it is compulsory for all new students to complete it before commencing their studies. It will involve writing a short paragraph and instructions can be found here.

Please note, there is only one register so we strongly recommend you prepare your paragraph beforehand and have it ready to copy into the register.

Have your paragraph ready for when you arrive and before you collect your university card on Tuesday 6th October, at either the 10am until 12 noon or the 2pm until 4pm timeslots.

The documents below contain important information that will help you prepare for your arrival.
