Welcome (and Welcome Back) To Trinity!

3 October 2022

Trinity wishes incoming freshers a warm welcome to Oxford, and welcomes back all returning students! It’s the start of a new academic year and we look forward to an exciting and fulfilling term ahead.

Trinity College Senior Tutor, Rebecca Bullard, says: ‘I’d like to offer a very warm welcome to our new students, and to welcome back to all those who are returning to Trinity this Michaelmas Term. The College is quieter through the summer months and it’s really exciting to feel it come to life when our students are back in residence.

‘Our returning students will notice the improvements that we’ve made to the College Library over the summer. We hope that they’ll enjoy working in the warmer and brighter surroundings.

‘This year will see an exciting programme of academic and cultural events taking place in the Levine Building. We hope that students get involved and immerse themselves in the full range of opportunities that Trinity has to offer.

‘The first few weeks of term are exciting but they can also be challenging, both academically and socially. Our undergraduate freshers may find it helpful to look through the resources that the University provides to help with the transition to Oxford: Oxford Transition Support. I’d encourage anyone who is having difficulties to contact their tutor, me, or the Head of Wellbeing, Lynn Cross, if they’d like to talk about any aspect of their experience in College.’
