Dining & Staying

At Trinity

Dine on

High Table

Old Members (matriculated members who are not current members of College) have a lifetime’s entitlement to dine on High Table, at their own expense, once a term on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings, or Sunday following Chapel. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is no Formal Hall but High Table dinner takes place in the SCR.

The cost of dinner is £23.76 (2024-25), plus wine on consumption (£3.05 per glass) and members are welcome to bring a guest. Bookings should be made in good time and by no later than 10.00 am on the day (midday on Friday for the following Sunday). Please book through the Alumni & Development Office.

Have

Lunch in Hall

Old Members and their guests visiting Oxford are welcome to have lunch in Hall. Lunch, which is self-service, is available Mondays to Fridays only, from 12.30 to 1.30 pm during term and usually from 12.00 noon to 12.30 pm during vacations, except during the college closure and on days when other events are taking place—please check times when booking.

There is a choice of hot dishes each day, with soup and puddings also usually available. The Levine Building Café is generally open for coffee from 10.30 am to 2.00 pm (1.00 pm during vacations). There is a flat rate of £8.50 for lunch per person and places must be booked and payment made beforehand (as there is no facility for paying in Hall). Please contact the Alumni & Development Office, 01865 279887, to make a booking.

Arrange a

Stay in College

Single, twin or double guest rooms for up to three consecutive nights may be booked by members throughout most of the year depending on availability. Rates for 2024-25 are: single room, £81.60; double room, £129.60; twin room £163.20, which include breakfast when available (brunch on term-time weekends) and VAT – payment by cash or card is taken at the lodge on arrival.  Rooms should be booked through the Alumni & Development Office. Availability is often very limited.

Host a

Private Event

Old Members and Friends are able to book private functions  in Trinity, such as lunches, dinners and receptions, and the college facilities can also be hired for conferences.  Our Head of Events would be delighted to hear from you and to discuss your requirements. Information on holding a wedding or baptism in Chapel is available here.
