Trinity Online

Academic Enrichment lies at the heart of much of what we do, and we are delighted to launch Trinity Beyond the Classroom, our 2025 Enrichment Programme. 

Taking place online at 4.30-5.30pm on Wednesdays, this programme offers students: 

• A look at why and how they might easily take part in academic enrichment; 
• Academic taster and department subject talks with the opportunity for guests to ask questions and take part in interactive polls; 
• Study skills sessions from our resident academic support expert; 
• Workshops on the key skill of personal statement writing, to help university applicants to present and reflect on their enrichment experiences as positively as possible. 

Our programme consists of the following dates and themes, all on Wednesdays at 4.30-5.30pm:

12 March – Trinity Talk - Talk With Anyone: How to Deepen your Thinking, Form Ideas and Get Them Heard with live Q&A 

19 March – Trinity Talk - Physics:  Nuclear Energy with live Q&A

26 March – Trinity Talk - Social Policy & Law:  Governance in the British Drugs Trade with live Q&A 

APRIL 

2 April - Study Skills with Jennie James:  revision

23 April – Trinity Talk - Philosophy:  Science and Accidental Things in Aristotle's Philosophy with live Q&A  

30 April – Study Skills with Jennie James:  managing stress

MAY 

7 May – Trinity Talk - theme TBC, with live Q&A 

14 May - Trinity Talk - Undergraduate special, Law: the Defence of Necessity in Criminal Law with live Q&A

The talks will take place online in Teams, starting at 4.30pm prompt on Wednesdays.  To join us for the 2025 programme, fill in the form at Trinity Beyond the Classroom 2025 and we’ll send you the link to each session in the 24 hours before it starts. Guests are very welcome to join us for selected sessions, rather than needing to join us at all of them.
