BBC Radio 4's flagship political discussion programme is coming to Trinity College!

The programme was first broadcast in October 1948 and visits a different part of the UK every week with a panel of four speakers who answer questions from the audience, providing people with the opportunity to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers, and thinkers.

The panel is different each week and is broadcast LIVE on Radio 4 straight after the 8.00pm news bulletin. It's your chance to put your question to the panel.

Doors open at 6.30pm and close at 7.15pm. All audience members must be seated by 7.30pm. The programme will be broadcast live from 8-9pm. Entry is by ticket only. Please note there will be security checks on admittance to the venue. Recording and photography during the broadcast is not permitted.

There will be questions cards available to complete on arrival. We rely on questions from you to make the best programme, so please put in one or more! We will give you a copy of your question if it is selected for the programme and you must be prepared to ask it yourself on air.

Great questions do at least one of the following:-

  • Are TOPICAL - think about what’s been in the news this week
  • REFLECT THE AREA we are in—ask about what matters to you!
