Profile

My role involves promoting student wellbeing at Trinity. Working as part of a team, I am committed to fostering a supportive, trusting and caring environment in which students can feel safe approaching us for confidential help and advice.

I have significant professional experience of supporting children with additional needs including autism, ADHD, behavioural difficulties and dyslexia from nursery to Year 13 in school.

I am also currently a member of the Senior Management Team at St Aloysius Primary School in Oxford: I have  responsibility for all students on the SEN (Special Educational Needs) register and Mental Health strategy throughout the school. Here my responsibilities include identifying and supporting vulnerable students throughout the school; signposting teachers and parents to appropriate agencies for referrals and creating support packages for vulnerable learners; liaising with teachers, parents and external agencies; supporting teachers and parents by devising strategies to support the inclusion of vulnerable students within their class, and building strong links between the school and home. I am also responsible for delivering staff training on mental health and SEN and creating an Inclusion Policy for the school.

In am also a Trustee for the Dino School, a charity supporting troubled children and young adults within their families.
