Jonathan Flint

  • I am responsible for managing Trinity's hospitality and catering service operations.
  • I work with the kitchens team and the student and academic bodies to continue to provide high-quality food and service.
  • I also maintain, control and administer the College's extensive wine cellars.

I oversee and manage my team of Supervisors, full-time staff and team of casual staff, who plan, set up, run and organise, daily meal services for the student body and SCR, Catering needs for Conference groups, U.S Summer Schools program, Weddings, Banquets and private dinners, as well catering needs for meetings, student bookings and College events.

I am  now in my 13th year at Trinity and am seeing incredible things happen to make it a College that is the envy of the University; I look forward to help taking it further. Prior to arriving at Trinity I had a long and varied career which started in banking and stockbroking and has taken me to managing bars and restaurants including The Boot Inn at Barnard Gate, catering at Oxford University Press, Freud's in Jericho and even my own restaurant in the Oxford city centre.

My life outside College is fantastically busy through my involvement with our local community centre; I also helped set up, plan and host the main music stage at FloFest, the annual community festival that takes place in Florence Park, founded by my partner.
