Profile

I had a career as an international sports arbitrator and writer,  and have been a barrister for fifty years and QC since 1981.  I have held various judicial posts, including Senior Ordinary Appeal Judge of the Courts of Appeal of Jersey and Guernsey. I served as Ethics Commissioner for London 2012 0lympics, and was the first Chair of Ethics and Discipline for World Athletics.  I held the role of Chair of the Code of Conduct Commission and of Dispute Resolution for the International Cricket Council.  I have been a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport since 1996, serving on five ad hoc panels at the Summer Olympics.  I am currently working on my memoirs.
