Profile

As Estates Bursar, my primary responsibilities are the management of the college’s property and other investments, and ensuring sound financial management of the College. I manage the college’s Bursary team, and oversee the management of college assets including its estates and endowment. I also oversee the college’s legal affairs and its risk management – for example arranging insurance policies and legal contracts. In these activities I am guided and advised by various college committees, including the Bursarial Committee, the Investment Committee and Governing Body.

In my earlier career I worked in professional sport, initially in horse racing at Ascot Racecourse and the Jockey Club, then later as a director of Gloucester Rugby. More recently I moved into property management as the Finance Director of the Englefield Estate in West Berkshire, and it was following this role that I joined Trinity in September 2017.

In my spare time I have a voluntary role in primary and secondary education as a director and trustee of the Vale Academy Trust. This is a group of 8 state schools operating as a multi-academy trust in the Wantage and Abingdon area of Oxfordshire. Predictably, I chair the Finance and Operations Committee.
