Apply for Postgraduate Scholarships at Trinity Now

Several new postgraduate scholarships are available this year at Trinity College, adding to the already wide range of generous support available for postgraduate study.

Among the 22 scholarships available to applicants for postgraduate study at Trinity, the College is pleased to be offering the Dick Frederiks Scholarship in History for one-year MSt courses and the Titley Scholarship in Biochemistry for Dphil students. These are new for applicants applying for study in 2024-25, making 22 postgraduate scholarships Trinity is able to offer to candidates applying this admission cycle.

The Dick Fredericks Scholarship is open to academically outstanding international candidates who have been accepted on to a one-year History MSt course for entry in October 2024.. All eligible applicants offered a place at Oxford for October 2024 will automatically be considered for this scholarship, whether or not they originally applied to Trinity College.

The Titley Scholarship in Biochemistry is a Trinity College Scholarship for the DPhil in Biochemistry for entry in October 2024. This scholarship will be combined with funding from another scholarship fund to cover full fees and a maintenance grant at the level of the Research Council stipend. All applicants offered a place on a DPhil in Biochemistry will be eligible for this scholarship, whether or not they originally applied to Trinity College, and there is no additional application form.

Trinity’s Senior Tutor, Rebecca Bullard, says: ‘Fundraising for graduate scholarships is a priority for Trinity, and it is largely thanks to the generosity of the College’s friends and old members that we are able to support new generations of early career researchers. We work closely with departments and faculties across the University to ensure that the very best candidates are nominated for these awards. The contribution that our graduate scholars make to our academic community both through their research and their wider commitments is outstanding, and we look forward to welcoming a new cohort in October 2024.’
