Alumnus Michael Papadopoulos Makes Royal Opera House Debut

Trinity College alumnus Michael Papadopoulos (BA Music, 2009) has recently made his debut on the main stage of the Royal Opera House conducting Kurt Weill/Bertold Brecht’s Seven Deadly Sins and Mahagonny Songspiel.

Michael Papadopoulos is a repetiteur and conductor and is currently a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House. After reading Music as an undergraduate at Trinity he undertook postgraduate study at the Royal Academy of Music and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was Conducting Fellow in the opera department. He was the Emerging Artist repetiteur at Scottish Opera in 2019-20, Opera Holland Park Young Artist Repetiteur for the 2018 summer season and is an alumnus of the National Opera Studio.
