Oxford University Access Event

We are pleased to announce an exciting new access event taking place on the 22^nd of June at the University of Oxford for students who are young women in Years 10-12 with Bangladeshi and Pakistani heritage.

Beginning at 09:30 at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, the day aims to give students the opportunity to come and find out what it feels like to be a student at the University of Oxford and consider what they might like to do in the future.

Delivered by three inspirational women in their academic fields, students will choose two from three possible taster lectures to attend in the morning, followed by a tour of the Centre and halal lunch.

Visiting Trinity College in the afternoon, we'll then hear from Dr Samina Khan about admissions, courses and careers, along with Q&A with current undergraduate students. The day will finish at 15:45 after tours of Trinity and Jesus College.

There are a total of 60 student places available. In the event this day is oversubscribed, places may be limited to between 5-10 per school. Please note, teachers must book places for and accompany their year 10-11 students, although year 12s may attend the event unaccompanied or with a parent. 

The deadline to request places is the 27th of May. We aim to respond to requests within one week of submission or the 27^th of May, whichever is sooner.
