Year 12 Access Conference

Trinity College is collaborating with the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) and the Somali Society to offer students in Year 12 with Somali heritage an exciting Access Conference day.

The aim of the day is to encourage students to consider Oxford as one of their future options. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Oxford Centre of Islamic studies and Trinity College, experience an academic taster, gain guidance and information relating to courses and admissions and hear from current students with shared identities.

Date: Wednesday 15 May 2024

Time: 9:30am until 4pm

Venue: Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and Trinity College, Oxford

Students will have the opportunity for discussion with academics, our current students and potential future mentors.

For the last half of the day, we’ll have an informational talk about applying to Oxford and to explore what you can do with an Oxford degree. We’ll also have informal discussions over tea followed by Q&A with our current undergraduates and society members.
