Lois Heslop

Part: Soprano
Studies: Physics

Lois is in her second year at Lady Margaret Hall, and is a Choral Scholar at Trinity. When she isn’t singing, she is an occasional conductor and composer, as well as a violinist. She also edits a student newspaper, which takes up a lot of her time. One of the highlights of Hilary Term was when Trinity College Chapel Choir performed and recorded a setting of canticles that Lois had written: she loves composing, and hopes to write some more music for Trinity in the future (if the organ scholars want it!).

Choir rehearsals are saving Lois’ lockdown, which is otherwise occupied with journalism, physics and almost daily trips to the ice cream shop at the end of her road!
