Equalities support

Trinity College is committed to fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality, values diversity, and maintains a working, learning, and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all its staff and students are respected.  The college’s Equality Policy can be found here:

The Equalities Fellow: María del Pilar Blanco is the College’s Equalities Fellow. She is the main port of call regarding issues of equalities and diversity (race, gender, culture, belief) within college. A large part of María’s role is to work with students to celebrate the diversity of our community. Undergraduate and graduate members of college should contact María if they would like to discuss matters related to equality and diversity.

The JCR has a number of reps including a BME Rep, Women’s Rep and a Spectrum Rep, who are listed on the JCR committee page.

The MCR Equalities Officer is Jean Balchin; she can be reached at jean.balchin@trinity.ox.ac.uk

Oxford University’s equalities policies are on the Equality and Diversity Unit website: https://edu.admin.ox.ac.uk/policies-and-governance

Faith, religion and belief: The University also has a list of resources for different faith communities across the university: https://www.ox.ac.uk/students/welfare/chaplaincy?wssl=1

There is a wide variety of places of worship within the University and in and around the City centre; for details see the faith societies and belief group webpage.
