Support for students with disabilities

We welcome applications from people with disabilities and are committed to making reasonable adjustments so that all students can participate fully in the life of the College.

The Welfare Dean is the College Disability Lead and Isabel Lough is the Disability Coordinator. Please contact them if you have any questions relating to disability. The college operates within the Common Framework for Supporting Disabled Students.

Students who have disabilities or specific learning difficulties should register with the University Disability Advisory Service. This service processes reasonable adjustments to learning and exam provisions, eg recording of lectures, extra time in exams. They also advise colleges about any adjustments necessary for a student’s well-being. The Welfare Dean liaises with the Disability Advisory Service. Please contact her if you have specific needs concerning accommodation or aspects of college life. Please remember that it is always better to ask for help early on in a situation. We do our best to help students do their best while they are at Oxford.

The JCR also has a Disabilities Rep, Tiri Hughes, who can be contacted at tirion.hughes@trinity.ox.ac.uk
