Access and Schools Update

We would like to wish all our partner schools and teachers all the very best in adapting to the New Year closures and re-adjustment to virtual learning. Recognising that colleagues’ focus for now will be on adapting to these changes, we will be in touch with partner schools in w/c 11 January.

When the time is convenient for students and colleagues, we will look forward to supporting schools with virtual sessions for students from Year 7 through to Year 13:  you can contact us on access.officer@trinity.ox.ac.uk if you would like to talk about our provision or to book sessions.

Visiting Schools in

Oxfordshire and the North East

We work with state schools, focusing on Oxfordshire and the North East. We support North East schools in collaboration with Oxford for North East which is made up of four colleges who work together to support the region. The colleges involved are Trinity, Christ Church, St Anne’s and Lincoln.

We work with all year groups, from Year 6 to Year 13 and offer a variety of sessions which develop the skills and knowledge needed to consider university as an option. Our main aim is to increase the number of students from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds who successfully gain a place at Oxford. We prioritise these students for events and for inbound and outbound visits to and from the College.

We send information about our inbound and outbound visits to all state schools in our link regions. If your school has not been receiving our emails and you would like to take advantage of this resource please get in touch at access.officer@trinity.ox.ac.uk and we will add your email to our mailing list. We would be delighted to hear from you!

You can find information about Trinity’s activities and those of the central university on these web pages. You may also find it helpful to read our outreach guides for Oxfordshire and the North East.
