I am currently studying at University College for a DPhil with Prof. David Logan. Previously, I read for an MChem at Trinity, and am enjoying being able to stay closely linked to my undergraduate college.
I teach Mathematics and Physics classes to the undergraduate Chemists of Trinity and St. Peter’s colleges. This gives them the skills and knowledge to understand the modelling underpinning Chemistry as a quantitative science.
My work considers theories of electron localisation in quantum systems. In particular I consider many-body localisation, where both electron interactions and disorder – each interesting topics in their own right – combine to produce rich and subtle transitions between metallic and insulating behaviours.
