Nicolaus Heuer
Lecturer in Mathematics

Profile

I studied mathematics at ETH Zurich where I did both my bachelor’s and my master’s.

Currently, I am in my last year of a DPhil at the University of Oxford.

Teaching

I have previously been a tutor and TA at ETH Zurich, at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford and at St. Hugh’s College.

I like to teach a wide range of pure mathematical subjects such as Linear Algebra, Algebra, Topology and Number Theory.

Research

I am interested in Geometric Group Theory. This subject lies in the intersection of many exciting fields in pure maths such as Group Theory, Topology and Combinatorics.
