I completed my MChem in Chemistry at Trinity College, Oxford in 2014. I am now studying for a DPhil in Inorganic Chemistry, having moved to Oxford from Imperial College London with Professor Charlotte Williams.
I tutor the third year chemistry students from Trinity and St Peter’s in Inorganic Chemistry.
My DPhil research is concerned with synthesising novel catalysts to make ‘green’ plastics. As well as catalyst synthesis, my project is focused on understanding the underlying mechanisms of these reactions. To investigate this, I use a variety of techniques such as in-situ IR spectroscopy, kinetic studies and computational modelling.
