Organ Scholar's success

Matthew Golesworthy, Davidge Organ Scholar, has been awarded a diploma from Trinity College London at the Fellowship level (FTCL), following a recital performance over the summer.

The programme for the exam was
Naji Hakim: Bach’orama
JS Bach: Trio Sonata No. 4 in E Minor, BWV 528
Herbert Howells: Psalm Prelude, Set 1 No. 3
Alexandre Guilmant: Sonata No. 1 in D Minor

Trinity College London Performance Diplomas are TCL’s most advanced performance awards, taking musicians up to a professional standard of performance and musical understanding. Recital Diplomas are based around the planning and execution of a recital performance—90 per cent of the marks are for the performance, and 10 per cent for presentation, including programme notes.
