Making a donation
How to give

We could not be more grateful to everyone who supports the college by making a donation, whatever the amount. Most gifts are unspecified, allowing the college to direct the money to the areas of most pressing need, but if you prefer to do so, please do specify the particular area you would like to support. The different methods of making a gift are explained below.

legacies

Since the foundation of Trinity in the sixteenth century, the gifts and bequests of generous and far-sighted individuals have been crucial to the college’s development. Leaving a legacy is your opportunity to make a difference to the lives of generations to come and to take your place among the College's most distinguished benefactors.

tax efficient giving

There are a number of schemes in place, both in the UK and overseas, which allow your donation to be made in a tax efficient way. In some instances this increases the value of your gift to Trinity at no extra cost to you.

The annual Campaign

As its name suggests, this is the yearly campaign and once every year, Old Members and Friends are invited to make a gift, during a telethon, by letter or in person. It serves as a vital source of immediate funding for the college and helps to provide a clear forecast of income in the year ahead. At present, it raises around £300,000 per year.
