Andrea Brazzoduro, Junior Research Fellow in History, has been awarded a Deakin Fellowship at the European Studies Centre, St Antony’s College, Oxford.
The fellowship, for the 2017-18 academic year, will allow Dr Brazzoduro to complete his second monograph project, The ‘Revolution’ in the Aurès. War, Memory, and Belonging in Three Algerian Generations (1954-2016). In Trinity term 2018 he will also convene, at the European Studies Centre, the conference Algeria, France: How Memory Works? Historical imagination as a category of practice. 1954-62, and Beyond.
