Over the last eleven years Dido, the President’s King Charles Spaniel, has been an important part of Trinity College. Visitors to the Lodgings would be welcomed by her and she delighted in a friendly lap. Sadly she died last weekend, having reached a good age for her breed.
She will be missed not just by Sir Ivor and Lady Roberts but also by the wider Trinity family. She sits at Ivor’s feet in his portrait in the SCR and is centre stage in the group portrait of female Fellows, lecturers and staff, part of the Feminae Trinitatae exhibition in Hall. Thus her part in Trinity life will be remembered.
