Conference Facilities

We offer a 24-hour rate for residential delegates or an 8-hour rate for daily delegates. All meeting rooms may be hired at an hourly rate with or without meals or refreshments.

Britton Room in the Lawns Pavilion

Equipped with: Data projector (HDMI connection only), electronic projector screen, chilled water dispenser and WiFi and a piano.

The room is fully accessible. Please ensure you bring your own laptop compatible with an HDMI connection.

 

Meeting Room in the Lawns Pavilion

Equipped with: 30 theatre style chairs, with a palette book rest, in a tiered formation, data screen (HDMI connection only), and Wifi.

Sutro Room

Equipped with: Fabric backed and seated chairs, data projector (HDMI connection only), electronic projector screen, chilled water dispenser, WiFi and a piano.

Fletcher Room

Equipped with: fixed boardroom style with 14 chairs, data screen (HDMI connection only), and WiFi.

Junior Common Room (JCR)

Equipped with: Data projector (VGA connection only), electronic projector screen and WiFi.

The room is fully accessible.

Bedrooms

Residential accommodation is in study bedrooms usually occupied by students in term time i.e. single rooms, twin sets (which comprise two single rooms with a shared sitting room) and also some bedrooms with separate sitting rooms. All rooms have wash basin, refrigerator and hospitality tray with electric kettle. There are toilets and showers on every staircase. Twenty two single rooms have an en-suite bathroom (shower/lavatory/basin) as have eight of the twin-set rooms (i.e. accommodating 16). In addition we have fifteen en-suite bedrooms which have double beds. There is a ground floor room suitable for a wheelchair user with fully accessible en-suite bathroom. It is regretted that children cannot be accommodated in the College. Total number of rooms 150, of which 23 are twin set rooms (each comprising 2 single bedrooms and 1 sitting room).

Dining

All meals are served in the 17th century, wheelchair accessible, Dining Hall which has a maximum capacity of 150 (minimum 50). For banquets the Hall is lit by both chandelier and candelabra and decorated with College silver. The room is furnished with leather seated and backed chairs, not benches. Drinks receptions and post-dinner parties may be held in the Cellar Bar beneath the Dining Hall. Trinity is noted for its fine gardens and in the summer months receptions may be held on the extensive lawns with the proviso that another facility is booked at the same time in case of inclement weather.

General

  • Car parking is only available for the organiser of the conference and any disabled delegates.
  • The Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day and CCTV is in use in the College.
  • Exclusive use of the College for a conference is not possible unless by special arrangement, since Trinity is usually open to members of the public during the day.
  • The Conference Administrator would be pleased to show you around the facilities and discuss your requirements.
