Commemorating Trinity’s Fallen

An exhibition of photographs taken by a current undergraduate, recording the graves and memorials to some of the Trinity men killed in WWI, has opened in college.

The imaginative and evocative photographs by Maddie Parr are accompanied by texts recording the histories of those commemorated. Titled ‘Their Name Liveth for Evermore: commemorating Trinity’s Fallen’, the project was organised by Marcus Williamson, with the support and advice of Clare Hopkins, archivist, and Sharon Cure, librarian, and with funding from the Trinity Society.

A launch event took place on Sunday 6 May, prior to a week-long exhibition in Hall, running each afternoon until Saturday 12 May.
