Author event at Blackwell's

Simon Tolkien (1978) will be discussing his new novel, No Man’s Land, at Blackwell’s bookshop on 29 June.

Simon Tolkien, who read History at Trinity, is the grandson of J R R Tolkien. No Man’s Land is inspired by his grandfather’s experiences in the battlefields of the Somme and presents a powerful and moving picture of early twentieth-century England torn apart by the First World War.
