We had a fantastic trip to Trinity College: a great opportunity to get inside a college we usually just walk past on Broad Street.
Creatives, the Ashmolean’s Young People’s Panel, has posted a blog piece about the group’s recent visit to Trinity.
The group was given a tour of the college by Bryan Ward-Perkins, Fellow and Tutor in History and Fellow Archivist, was shown around the Old Library by the librarian, Sharon Cure, and explored the archives with archivist Clare Hopkins. The tours were followed by a picnic on the Lawns.
The Creatives group, which is open to 16- to 19-year-olds and prioritises applicants from Oxfordshire state schools, helps to ensure that the voice of young people is represented at the Ashmolean.
