There are two punts bookable in each time slot; you cannot book both punts at once, nor book two consecutive sessions. If you book a punt and then later discover you will not be using it, unbook yourself to free the punt for use by other people. When it approaches your time, go to the lodge to pick up a slip which will then let you take out the punt from THE BOATHOUSE AT MAGDALEN BRIDGE. Also, read the Conditions for Punt Hire (PDF file).

Note the important change in practice, due to the terms and conditions supplied by the Magdalen Bridge boathouse:
 1. Only 5 people are allowed in each punt.
 2. You must take your University card for identity purposes, AS WELL AS a completed slip which you can get from the Porter's Lodge - these are to be handed in at the boathouse counter.
 3. The boathouse is only open until 8.30 pm in 1st and 2nd week; and only until 9 pm thereafter.
