Tom Brown
Lecturer in Mathematics

Profile

I am DPhil student at the Doctoral Training Centre, as part of the Life Sciences Interface program. I completed my MMath at Trinity in 2013, and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at Keble College in 2014.

Teaching

At Trinity, I teach Probability and Statistics to first- and second-year undergraduates.

Research

My research interests lie in the mathematical modelling of gene regulation and am developing computational methods aimed at unpicking the mechanisms involved in governing gene expression. I am supervised by Andrew Angel and Jane Mellor in the Biochemistry department.
