BEFORE MAKING AN ENQUIRY OR A BOOKING, PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE
The procedure for graduating at Oxford has changed; from Michaelmas term 2012 the booking system for graduation ceremonies is via the Degree Conferrals website. This means that all final-year students due to finish their studies from summer 2013 onwards are contacted and invited to book a ceremony using the new online system.
Historic graduands who finished their studies before December 2012 now have very limited options for graduating, as the majority of spaces are reserved for current students. There are currently no spaces available to graduate in ceremonies for 2013-2014 dates. Some spaces may be made available at short notice for the July ceremonies but we are unlikely to know of any space until May at the earliest—do get in touch if you would like to be considered for a space at short notice.
If you would like to book a place for 2014-2015 please see the dates below and follow the booking procedure from October 2013.
Dates for July 2013 to May 2014
Saturday 13 July 11.00 am (including spaces for UG medics)
Friday 26 July 11.00 am (including spaces for overseas UG students)

There is no time limit by which a degree has to be taken.
Undergraduates of the College who have taken, or are taking, the BA, are eligible to take the MA (Oxon) in or after the twenty-first term from matriculation.
Please note, former undergraduates who read for a four-year Masters degree (MChem, MPhys, MMath, etc) and who matriculated between 1993 and 1998, should check eligibility with the Tutorial Administrator before booking to take the MA. Those who matriculated in or after October 1999 are not eligible to supplicate for an MA.
It is essential to book a place for a Degree Day in advance, whether you plan to supplicate in person or in absentia.
For dates from July 2013: if you are in your final year, please book using the online system as explained in the invitation email from Degree Conferrals (if you have any questions please email Sarah Beal).
All graduates of Oxford become life members of Convocation, which elects the Chancellor and Professor of Poetry. Please look out for details about voting in elections on the Oxford University Website as you will not be specifically invited to vote.
These dates are for your diary but you won’t be able to book until Autumn 2013 when the system for the following year goes live.
